First Steps
Nashville Brain Institute offers Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Test. If the patient has never been tested for ASD, we recommend a simple screen test online first (https://psychology-tools.com/test/raads-14) . This RAADS-14 test is free and can calculate the ASD score immediately. The score above 14 out of 42 is positive for ASD possibility. Then, further detailed clinical neuropsychological tests are warranted to give more insight and deep analysis of the ASD deficit areas. The specific treatment plans can be recommended based upon the test results.
Autism Testing At NBI
Nashville Brain Institute is specialized for detailed ASD neurological tests by using Gilliam Autism Rating Scale Analysis (GARS). This test not only provides the detailed six domains of ASD deficits, but also gives detailed recommendations of psychotherapy strategies for each deficit area.
What Happens After The Test?
Our clinician can use the information from the test to guide the Brain Executive Function Enhancement treatments such as psychotherapy, neurofeedback, TMS, neuro supplements, and drug treatment.
How Long Does The Test Take?
Our ASD test comprised two separate sessions. The first session collects clinical information and performs the GARS test. The second session is to analyze the test result, calculate the Autism Intex, and recommend the treatment options. Each session takes about 1 hour.
How Much Does The Test Cost?
Compared to other expensive, comprehensive, time consuming psychological tests, our test is more focused, detailed, treatment-oriented, and affordable. Since insurance doesn’t cover the testing material and license fee, we don’t accept the insurance. The testing fee is $800 and due at the appointment.
