Lance Reuben MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Lance Reuben, PMHNP-BC, began his journey in mental health care in 2008 as a Behavioral Health Technician. His passion for psychiatry led him to advance through the field, first becoming an LPN, then an RN, and now a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. His career has taken him across the country, working in psychiatric facilities in Florida, Colorado, and Washington State before ultimately making Nashville, Tennessee, his home.

Lance earned his Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University, where he completed rigorous training in psychiatric diagnosis, medication management, and holistic mental health care. With over 16 years of experience in psychiatric and behavioral health settings, he has worked in inpatient hospitals, forensic psychiatric units, correctional mental health, and outpatient care.

For Lance, mental health is not just what he does—it’s who he is. His work is deeply personal, and he believes that every patient deserves to be heard, understood, and supported in their journey toward mental wellness.

Outside of work, Lance channels his dedication and discipline into bodybuilding, a pursuit that keeps him both physically and mentally strong. He has a deep love for traveling, always seeking new experiences and perspectives that enrich his understanding of people and cultures. At his core, he is a family man, valuing every moment spent with his loved ones and his loyal dogs. Never one to stop learning, Lance is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) at Arkansas State University, further sharpening his expertise in psychiatric care and mental health.
